This page covers two different things: browsing this site, which collects almost nothing, and using the Value Explorer diagnostic, which collects what you type into it.

This notice describes what our systems actually do. It has not yet been reviewed by a privacy adviser, and it is not legal advice. If anything here matters to a decision you are making, please ask us and we will answer directly.

Browsing this site

This site does not use cookies for tracking, and it does not run any advertising or third-party tracking scripts. There is no cookie banner because nothing on the public pages requires one.

We use a privacy-first analytics service to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets no cookies, does no device fingerprinting, and does not track individuals across websites.

The Value Explorer diagnostic

The Value Explorer is a guided diagnostic. To use it you verify an email address, then answer a series of questions about one operational challenge. This section explains what happens to what you tell us. Using it sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in to your own session and does nothing else.

What we collect

• Your email address, and whether you verified it.
• The company name you enter at the start.
• Your answers to each question, stored individually, including the free text you write about your operational challenge.
• The company domain from your email address, where it is not a personal address, so we can group people from the same organisation.
• A record of your consent: what you agreed to, when, and against which version of this notice. Marketing consent is recorded separately and is entirely optional.
• Technical records needed to keep the diagnostic usable: scrambled versions of your network address and browser identifier, used only to stop abuse.

Before every free-text question we ask you not to enter confidential information, personal information about employees, customer-identifiable information, passwords, credentials or contractually restricted data. Please do not. The diagnostic works perfectly well at business level, and that is all it is designed for.

Why we collect it

To produce your Opportunity Snapshot, to be able to discuss it with you afterwards, and to understand in aggregate which parts of the diagnostic work and which do not. If you agreed to it separately, we may also send you occasional notes about our work.

How artificial intelligence is used

A language model, run on our behalf by one of our service providers, is used for a small and fixed set of jobs: pulling structured facts out of what you wrote, restating your challenge so you can confirm or correct it, choosing one follow-up question, explaining why a use case from our library is relevant, and writing up the assessment.

It is not used to decide anything. Which questions you see, how the assessment is reached, whether you are offered a meeting, and what we do commercially are all determined by fixed rules rather than by the model. The model only ever works from what you told us and from our own curated library of use cases. Every request is logged so we can audit what was asked and what came back, and if the model is unavailable the diagnostic still completes without it.

Who handles your information

Your information is handled on our behalf by service providers who host this website, store your answers, deliver the emails you request, and hold our records of business contacts. They act only on our instructions and do not use your information for their own purposes.

What we copy to our contact records

When you ask to speak to us, a short summary is copied into the records we keep about business contacts: your email address, a reference for each exploration you have started, the area the assessment pointed you towards and what led it there, which areas you completed, up to three of its main findings, what you chose to do next, whether you have asked for a meeting and whether one has been arranged, a brief description of your organisation and your role drawn from what you told us, and a short summary of the assessment itself.

Your individual answers and the full exchange are not copied to our contact records. A note you choose to write when requesting a meeting is copied, so that we can read it before we speak.

If you book a meeting, the calendar entry carries only your reference, never the transcript.

How long we keep it

These are our current defaults, configured in one place and applied consistently.

• Diagnostics you never finished: 90 days
• Completed diagnostics, including your answers and your assessment: 730 days
• Our record of each language model request: 730 days
• Verification and abuse-control logs, which hold only scrambled identifiers: 30 days
• Counts of how far people get through the diagnostic: 395 days
• Records of what we copied to our contact records: 365 days

These periods are marked for confirmation by our privacy adviser before launch and may change as a result.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent, including marketing consent, at any time. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect your assessment. Write to[email protected]and quote your diagnostic reference if you have one, which makes it much quicker to find. We will act on it and confirm when it is done.

Contacting us any other way

If you contact us by email or through the form on thecontact page, we use the details you provide only to respond to you. We do not add you to a mailing list without asking first, and we do not sell or share your details with third parties.
